6 Week Arranging “Critique” Class Now Open!
One of the best ways to learn is from making mistakes – but learning from mistakes doesn’t mean that they be YOUR mistakes.

Hi Jim, My situation is very similar to Tom Walker’s. Another problem is that I have Finale 2011. In any event I will sign up as a passive member. Tom and Carl: the “active” portion of the class is now sold out, but now the class will be 8 weeks instead of 6. I couldn’t get to the webpage in time to stop at 6. Should be fun though. I think everyone can contribute with questions and stuff so maybe you can get a chart into the mix in the future at some point. Jim, I was out of towm last week just read the info on the Critque class, today is Jan,19 2011. Sorry I missed it I have several Arr: to choose from to send you that are all Big Band Charts.The one I had in mind is a Vocal chart ( The More I See You )It will be interesting to review the charts. One can always learn something good or not so good in every chart.I’m there if you do it again. David David: the slots went really fast, but I’ll probably do another at some point in the future. This will be 8 weeks, not 6 as I anticipated. Welcome to the class though. Jim I signed up for the class under option 2 but didn’t hear about the first class. Is there a way I can watch it now? You will still be able to view ALL class content and ask as many questions as you’d like. You just won’t have your OWN chart critiqued.
My Rock-Solid Guarantee: If you feel that after the 6-week class has concluded that you have not learned enough to justify the tuition you paid, please let me know and I will promptly and courteously refund every cent to you. (Try pulling that at your local college!)

I’d like to participate in the arranging class, preferably at the Active level. I have one chart that’s at about 85% right now; I could probably get it close to 95% by Monday the 17th, but I’m not sure I can get to 100% by then.
Let me know what you think – I could come in on this one at the passive level & hope you repeat the class sometime soon..
